New Life

About 2 weeks ago, my soon to be sister-in-law by marriage gave birth to her second child. I went to go visit the new addition, Ryan, a few days later and had an opportunity to take newborn & family photos. Newborns are so fun to photograph – especially when there’s an older sibling.

Chicago

I’m taking a break from my studies to post a quick little entry. =)

This past weekend I went to Chicago for the weekend with Andy. He had a conference he had to attend so I thought I would tag along for a quick trip and do a few “touristy” things since I have never been. I really regret not taking my SLR - Andy was sure to rub it in – because the city had so many gorgeous views. 
On Saturday, we went up to the Sears Tower (which is now known as the Willis Tower) and although we couldn’t see much through the rain clouds, we got lucky and caught a shot of a quick view as the clouds were moving.

FYI: Military can take a free tour of the tower!

It was a short and sweet trip – definitely want to visit Chi Town again in the future.
